The markets in December 2011 were dominated by European news, but we still saw good news on jobless claims and consumer confidence. 2011 has been the year of worry, but there reasons to stay optimistic for 2012.

November was pretty much a flat month from beginning to the end of the month but there sure was plenty of drama in between. A lot of the volatility that came for the month came out of the news from Europe and there were also some economic indicators that recorded during the month that caused some gyrations as well.

October 2011 saw a rebound after one of the worst quarters in market history; the July to October period was down 14%. Our model has had us out of the market mostly since mid-June so even with the comeback in October, the market is still lower than it was in May and we really haven’t missed anything.

Our clients can access AssetBook online to see a unique view of your account which includes a pie chart overview of your portfolio, a message center, snapshot of performance from various dates and an area for ASM to upload special documents

Open a New Fidelity Account
To open a new account, we will need to complete a new account application to get more information from you. Asset movement authorization is optional and it allows us to move money to your address of record or banking account without needing a signature.

Transfer of Assets
To transfer an account to Asset Management Strategies you must have a Fidelity account already opened or we will help you to open a new one. We will need to determine if we transfer your funds in kind or liquidate them.
